Default Fraud on mobile

I received a call on my mobile and the caller told me that he can provide a simcard card from which we call free unlimited calls to any network. Is it possible ?

It's possible. That's usually just a promotion with high rates though.

I am not sure about your call however a similar thing happened to me last year, I received a call on my mobile and I was told that I could have free unlimited text messages and €100 worth of free calls. I just had to pay €20.00 and silly me did, I got the Sim card and when I put it in my phone it locked my phone and it could not be repaired, I ended up having to get a whole new handset and I lost all the information on my other phone.

To be honest with you, to get free unlimited calls I would be a little weary, especially after my incident.

Exactly who called you? There is a high possibility that this is a scam.

This is a scam. If this is true all telcos will close shop. It is possible however to make a long distance call for free but you have to install a device and you have to use the internet's VOIP facility.

I have never heard anything like this because if this is going to happen then the revenues of the telecoms companies are going to fall and it is not possible
