Default Chargebacks

if i, as the merchant, am unable to perform my service to the customer on an agreed delivery date and give the customer the option to choose from either cancel to receive a full refund or the give me deadline extension, and if the customer ignore me by doing no choice from the options and go straight to his credit card issuer to file a chargeback. Will I become a victim of the chargeback in this case? Will his card issuer validate his chargeback request in this case?

No one can help you because you don't even make sense! What exactly are you trying to ask?

Yes! The customer can charge this back because you did not provide the services that were promised. Chargebacks are very tricky and you have tyo keep in mind that most credit cards usually side with the customer questioning the charge, you as a merchant become secondary. They truly believe "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT".
