I'm not 100% sure but I think there is a clearing period before the bank remits the funds to the seller. This is a safety net so that even if you are a victim of identity theft, you have a grace period to recover your money if your debit card is used for making online transactions.

i dont think so...its pretty bad luck...since they are prepaid..i dont think they give u statements like normal cc's do at the month end..so u cant charge back to the bank against them...

You can not chargeback using a debit card, you can only do it with the help of credit card.
