Default Is American Express Safe??

Hey all,
I'm about to purchase from this company in New Zealand through American express, They are a wholesaling company and theres nothing negative about them anywhere I have searched and i am 99% sure they are real.. As i have been scammed out of $12,000 before and learnt my lesson

I am making a large order about $11,000

My question is: If they fail to deliver can i get my money back through american express? I cant lose this much money again. How safe is it paying a merchant account? Can anyone open a merchant account and be scammers?

My friend previously ordered some phones but they couldnt verify him and he weas told to call up the AMEX fraud department in Australia, but he never did so never went through.. I called the lady up and asked about the company and she said she's heard of them and hasnt heard anything bad about them..

So how safe is it?

Kind Regards
Nima.!

Through American Express? It's possible but unlikely. Amex is very reputable, a great company. My step dad has been using it for 30+ years and no problems yet. They do do chargebacks.

I think the company you have mentioned here has a good track record and I have not heard anything bad about them ever, so you can rely upon them

I've been a customer support representative fo Expresspay (contactless card of Amex). They really do chargebacks.

Default safety

make a small order first and see how it goes...

you are lucky they accept credit cards, most wholesalers don't...
