Has anyone ever done a chargeback that has taken forever, or even worse, you never got it?
My friend was using paypal for purchasing some stuff from a store which accepted paypal. However he never got what he was promised. So he raised a dispute within 2 days of delivery. He was issued a chargeback but he never got one. his account was frozen and he never recieved any funds from paypal.

Never happened to me but a friend chargeback once from a website selling stolen copyrighted scripts, he only got to know about it when the original owner mailed him about illegality of scripts. He got the money in over 1 month by providing different information to paypal.

I had one that I had to do a chargeback from Paypal, but the seller emptied his account before, and only recovered $2 or something from the original amount.
Just after reading all the ^^ posts i dont think that paypal is a secure site to deal with .....
With any of these services its Buyers Beware and Sellers Beware. I have heard some horrific stories from both sides.
I've never had to do a chargeback but I've never heard of anyone not receiving it.
I wouldn't take a chance with non-reputable companies though.
i once paid for an item and didnt recieve it and then filed chargeback and got the full refund completely..
it was a pci adapter..
