Thread: Chargeback a government agency?

I have a friend who paid a speeding ticket for me and is now threatening to chargeback the payment. Will that actually work? I really don't want to get in any more trouble and this is bothering me big time.

Could she claim it is fraud since the ticket is not hers?

Wow, I've never heard about that. How did she pay for the speeding ticket? Did she write a check? Why does she want to charge it back now?
