Thread: Ridiculous chargeback story

I just got done reading this crazy story. I don't mean the writer is lying or anything, rather that it is madness how PayPal could not dispute a chargeback with these specific circumstances.

That is crazy! However, I'm skeptical since the site seems rather biased and contains an ad for an alternate payment processing system placed directly below the story.

I was going to say what Rachel already has. I've learned not to trust anyone on the Internet. If I have a degree of trust, I verify. It's too easy to get scammed if you don't. My immediate reaction to that story is that someone came up with a real good "story" to help get people to their "Paypal alternative." I might be too quick to dismiss it, but in my mind, it's nothing more than an advertising gimmick. I'm very suspicious that the whole thing is a scam.

That story isn't completely true as the writer is trying to advertise another payment processor by such medium. But, I have seen many people who have faced some horrible problems with PayPal.
