Thread: Reversed chargebacks

Blackberry is one company that will issue you with an automatic chargeback if they think you have failed to meet the conditions of an offer. I heard of someone who returned a product within the time limit but they still took nearly $300 from his card. It took a while to get it straightened out so be careful when you check your CC statements.

I am always learning. I didn't know that companies could reverse chargebacks. I thought they had to go through the chargeback appeals process in order to reverse the chargeback.

I think this refers to the automatic process Blackberry instigate if they think you have broken the contract. It seems that mnay of these cases get sorted out though. You can read about it here. I haven't got a smart phone but I am interested in them.
