A while ago I took out an online subscription via a friend's card. All was okay until renewal time came around. I wasn't notified that the year was up and didn't give it any thought until my friend called and complained that the payment for a second year had been charged automatically to her credit card. What followed was one unholy mess which involved her initiating a chargeback against them. She failed. Do you think this practice justifies chargebacks? I certainly do.
