    Paypal chargeback question

    Hello,
    I got a transaction from UNVERIFIED Paypal, I think he must not have any bank account or credit card attached that's why he is unverified?. If so, then he must have paid me by his Paypal balance. He paid me 2 transaction which he chargedback just after 1month, and now 3months are gone. Can i be relax that he won't chargeback 2nd transaction also? Because maximum time for Paypal dispute is 45days and 3 months are already gone.

    I would think that you can stop worrying about this now. If Paypal says the deadline is 45 days, they aren't going to change that rule. I had a situation where I ordered an item, was told I would get it, and it never came. I kept doing emails back and forth to the seller and he kept putting me off saying I should get it any day. Unfortunately, I did not know about the 45 day Paypal rule at this time. By the time 45 days had passed, I still didn't have the item and the seller cut off al communication with me. Paypal would do nothing about it b/c it was passed the 45 days. I lost $50 just like that!

    I agree with paybyphone, I'd say as long as it is past the maximum time for a Paypal dispute you should be fine. I would stop worrying about it, but I would still try and check it from time to time just in case. You wouldn't want something to happen without you realizing it.

    You said three months have gone by? I would just go on about your business because the time frame is already past if he was going to do the second transaction. If you ever have a dispute with someone make sure to keep all your emails because someone tried disputing a purchase with me and I had all the emails and PayPal denied them and sided with me.

    Yes you can but doubt you will win the case.If you made a payment with credit card you have a better chance calling your credit company

    You should always get a tracking number. This way you know where your package is at and can avoid this type of situation altogether. But unfortunately, you probably will just have to pay the money back. I'm not saying it's fair to you, but it really is his word against yours. And without that tracking number, you can't show them that you even mailed it in the first place. Good luck, and sorry about the idiot you sold your item to. But next time make sure you get the tracking number, or you could require shipping insurance on all purchases.
