Thread: Chargeback on a credit amount??

Has anyone received a chargeback on a credit amount? Maybe for invalid card number or double posted credit? I'm trying to understand if credits are typically reversed thru the chargeback process or if there is some other type of adjustment the issuer uses.

Most merchant will realize it and just send them a refund instead of the customer requesting a chargeback
