Thread: Any success stories on Chargebacks?

Well for me, I was scared for weeks when I had a negative balance of -$500 on paypal. Collectors kept calling and I heard that if you don't pick up the phone when collectors call you are good. Then a few weeks later my money that was reversed got back to me, so now i'm very glad to get back to business $0 :-]


any other good success stories? This was paypal btw.

I`ve tried to open a dispute for a hosting account that i got from someone but paypal deferred it.You`re lucky i think.

I charged back stormpay way back when and got my money back. Never had any issues.

man thats great i am still waiting for paypal decision as i recieved funds from some one whose account was illegal and they held my funds $55

i have complained then still waitng for their answers

latinoheat, unless you shipped to the address and have tracking number it will be tough.

You are really lucky, maybe the guy that tried to chargeback you was suspended due illegal things on your account or something like that becase is the first time that i heard a success history of chargeback been restored.

Yep this would be really lucky. Unfortunately I am not that lucky.

I bought a router on eBay via Credit Card and the seller told me that it was in perfect condition. Thus, when I recieved it, I was surprised to see it in horrible shape. Nonetheless, I plugged it in and powered it up and it was broken. I contacted the seller but there was no response. So, I called my Credit Card company and got it sorted out. I got my $150 back, luckily.
