They aren't shutting your card off, they are putting a temporary hold on it until you call in and verify that you are in possession of your card. It is a security feature, and I had it happen on a trip to Vegas when I was using my card a lot. They wanted to verify I was in possession of my card and it wasn't being used fraudulently, and then I was able to go right back to charging. |
