As far as my knowledge is concerned the latest I heard on this was that some guys who were scammed wanted to drag Randy to court but no agency came forward to their assistance. Neither local, nor state, nor federal authorities would help them till they acquire evidence and present the case .DA won't accept it, thus no criminal charges would be brought against the crook.
Civil litigation may be the remedy for this.
