Default Don't trust friends!!!!

No matter how close you think you are to a friend..do not let them have access to your private information.

One time I had my friend make a copy of my driver's license, only to find out that she had saved it to her computer. I didn't find out about it until a few company's started calling me months later that my account was past due. When I figured out what was going on I went to the Post Office and did a change of address form , with my name from her address to mine.

That ***** had bought a $5,000 dollar HP printer, had five cell phones in my name and accounts set up to buy paper and ink for "my" printer.

Needless to say, that has been one of hardest things to overcome..try explaining that one to bill collectors. It was bad enough having to turn her in to the police for fraud.

She has since moved and has a website for pet grooming..I keep constant tabs on her but it doesn't do me any good. You can get a judgement but that doesn't mean that they are going to pay you. UGH!
