I joined a posting contest and posted literally thousands of posts. All quality, mind you.
The contest was a month long. The site administrator said they'd get all the prizes situated by the fifth. It's only the sixth I know but prior to this contest, a former staff member PMd me telling me to be careful because I will eventually get screwed.
Anyway, the day the contest ended the admin PMd me and said he has all the money and he's sending the payment(as we spoke). He then told me PayPal was causing him problems and that he'd handle this by the next day. The next day I get a PM from him telling me PayPal won't let him send any money out because it wasn't his "main account" and the account he was sending the money to me on wasn't verified.
Feeling like I'm being screwed I told him I have an unverified PP account that I've been using for years and they'll let him send the money as long as he has sufficient funds in his account which he said he did.
He PMd me a few hours later and said PP is still causing him problems and he could only send partial payment.
Frustrated, I PMd him back two days later asking for my money and he said he'll get the other site admin to send it to me.
Another two days later and I'm still waiting.
