Free stuff will get you visitors right away, yes, however, don't expect them to come back. I know one forum owner who spent over $15k on free stuff, cash prizes and more for his forum and then a month after that ended, most of the users were gone. Spend the money and time offering quality free tools, good content and good feedback. Money may seem the quick response and while most assume some will stay, doesn't happen. |
