i've heard a story that happened in the philippines some months back. there was this call center agent who used the credit card information of their client to purchase items online. some fbi agents went over there and picked him up. i don't know if this is exactly true, but since i heard that story, it made me more convinced that the government is actually doing something to protect us from fraud. |
