i don't hide from creditors, instead i ask why they are calling. if the representatives are rude, i also get rude. i know i pay on time, and when i'm late i usually have a good reason (like car trouble, family emergency). but if the people calling in (never had someone come to the house) are kind, i give them honest answers. remember, these people do this for a living, they can sniff out a lie. creditors can be your bestfriend as long as you fulfill your end of the bargain, and that is to pay. |
