If you accept credit cards online, you are required to at least use an SSL Cert. While some don't, it's pretty standard. A direct order form just means that the merchant accepts the credit card # directly and transmits that data to their payment gateway directly. It can be done with virtually any scripting language, not just cgi but php, asp, java, just about anything. |
