I have several websites and have submitted most of them to hundreds of different directories. The traffic I receive from these is almost 0, but quite a few of my listings are on pages that have PR so I do believe that it helps in that aspect.
If you are looking for traffic, directories are not very effective, in my opinion.
EDIT -- I should add that if you have a directory yourself you will get some traffic to it from some of the better directories. Remember that most people that visit directories are webmasters. |
