Default Tips For Avoiding Bad EBay Sellers

Just a few tips for avoiding dodgy ebay sellers.

1)Don't trust feedback without checking it. If you're buying an expensive item, check what else the seller deals in. Often sellers spend a while building up high feedback on $0.99 ebooks before offering up a bunch of fake big ticket items.

2)If a seller wants you to contact them via email, don't do it. Use the ebay function to 'ask a seller a question' to make sure there is a record of all communication. Never deal outside the auction - ebay can't protect you if you do.

3)Read the description carefully - if anything doesn't sound right, don't buy. You could end up with an empty box, or a picture of an item instead of the real thing.

4)Watch out for very very high postage on items that seem very cheap.
