 A Dispute on Your Credit Card Statement to Initiate Chargeback
Hey guys! A chargeback is when you tell your credit card company that you did NOT make or authorize a debit to your credit card account. You dispute something you see on your bill and they take the money away from the merchant that charged you and they give the money back to your account. The merchant has to PROOVE that you made that purchase by providing signatures, dates, receipts, etc. DANG, what a hassle all that is (I'm guessing). I've never had to do this (as far as I remember) |
