 Bell Went Off First Time I Used My Card At Store
I liked this feature and I'm not sure if it is still being used by credit card companies, but about a decade ago when I got a brand new card and used it for the first time, a flag went off at the cashier's counter.
The cashier made a phone call and the credit card company requested that I show an identification to verify that the right person had possesion of the card.
Can you imagine the look on somebody's face if they had stolen the card from the mail and that bell went off at the cash register. How would they wiggle out of that one, I don't know! |
