Make copies of the payments made and send it with a letter explaining that it has been paid. Make sure to keep the original documents.
If they do not accept this then I would contact the Citizen Advice Bureau and they will be ale to assist her, they can recommend what she can do or they can put her in touch with some legal advice.
You sound like you are confident and would be able to deal with these people, maybe you could make an appointment with them and bring in the proof of payment and don't leave until they accept that your Grandmother has paid. |
