There have been a lot of fraudulent emails supposedly sent by PayPal, I have heard many stories of people opening official emails sent by PayPal only to discover that they are a scam.
People have had money withdrawn from their accounts because they replied to this fraudulent email and gave personal details.
It is common knowledge that no Bank, Payment company will ever ask you to give your personal details online.
If you are not expecting an email from a particular Bank or payment company do not open it, if it was genuine they will find an alternative way to contact you. |
