difference between getting payment and requesting payment in paypal
I see two options to bill my clients. Either I send them request for bill via request money option or they directly send me money. What is the exact difference between two of them?
Sending money is just sending the money without any request. When they also request it Paypal will notify you that "Whoever" is requesting this amount and if you accept or not.
For getting payment, that mean you have received payment from someone via Paypal. However, for request payment, you are sending a Paypal bill to someone for request payment. Some people they need this bill before issue the payment.
I too have wondered many times on why my clients always ask for requesting payment from them for my service rather than them sending it directly through paypal. Now i know why. But is there any cost advantage to it?
Sometimes, you just need to give a reminder to your beloved clients and the "requesting payment" option of Paypal will be your good "money asking buddy" for sure...
Basically, what it comes down to is, do you want them to send the money directly or do you want to send them a request telling them to send the money...?
