For starting a import business of cosmetics and clothes, I want to open a office in Bangkok. What are the basic formalities I have to do to start my venture?

I have no idea how Bangkok works but I'll take a shot. First thing is to talk to suppliers(if you've already gotten the permits and secured the office space). Don't waste your money on employees if you can handle it by yourself and business isn't "booming". When you're completely set up, start marketing.
