I'm not going to say that their claims aren't possible. I will tell you that they're going to make it sound very good and very easy, and it won't be. They might also say that there is no selling, and there will be. Usually, you'll have to put money upfront for materials or something else. It's very doubtful that you're going to become rich doing MLM.
MLM is not for everyone and it's obviously not for me, but I agree that it's possible to be successful with MLM, as long as you are really interested in this model of business and know what you are doing.
There are a few who got rich with this kind of business. The thing is you should have lots of friends and your convincing powers are strong. This business is not for me as well because I don't have much friends whom I could sell things to.
I think it's an interesting market opportunity for the right kind of person but I wouldn't do it. (One of many reasons being that business and friends don't mix.) If you are doing this or want to know more you may find this website interesting.
A woman at church does this quite successfully. She invited us in, but we declined. Part of what we didn't like was that we had to purchase a minimum number of products every month in addition to making sales.
It's not for me either. I am not someone who can sell things to his friends and other people he knows. Don't get me wrong, it's not that it's a bad thing. It's just not for me.
